ABOUT THIS TOOLKIT

Useful tools.
Room for your words.

Hindi Tools helps with the small text tasks between an old document and your next draft.

Built for everyday Hindi

Convert common legacy font encodings, count Hindi text, transliterate into Latin letters, switch numeral systems, and clean up pasted text. Every tool is free and runs on your device.

Simple by design

There are no accounts, external fonts, third-party scripts, or uploads. The site uses plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Once a tool page has loaded, its text operations do not need a network connection.

Be thoughtful with old formats

Kruti Dev and Chanakya are legacy font encodings, not Unicode. Different font versions and text-extraction methods can yield different characters. These tools handle common mappings but cannot guarantee every document. Always review the output against the source, particularly names, numbers, punctuation, and complex conjuncts.

Transliteration is not translation

The Latin tool represents written Hindi sounds with a simple ITRANS-like scheme. It does not translate meaning or predict spoken pronunciation.
